چکیده

In this study, the effect of sodium tungstate on anaerobic digestion waste sewage sludge (WSS) was investigated. Methane production enhanced by in a dose-dependent manner. Sodium did not affect hydrolysis stage as same level protease activity detected WSS sample with or without tungstate. At acidogenesis stage, concentration acetate decreased during supplemented whereas that isobutyrate increased. The pH increased presence tungstate, correlating result consumption time WSS. analyses methanogenesis via acetoclastic and hydrogenotrophic methanogens indicate methane from high addition, addition to initial fresh enhance acetate; therefore, may increase number rather than promote catalytic reaction related production. archaeal population supported (mostly Methanosaeta ) detail, when compared control WSS, percentage significantly 3.02% 31.20% Furthermore, growth Methanosarcina acetivorans C2A. Taken together, increases increasing methanogenesis. • (2.17-times higher) through using sludge. at 7.2. acetic acid promoted which improved. Acetoclastic methagenesis activated methanogens.

Anaerobic co-digestion of coffee waste and sewage sludge.

The feasibility of the anaerobic co-digestion of coffee solid waste and sewage sludge was assessed. Five different solid wastes with different chemical properties were studied in mesophilic batch assays, providing basic data on the methane production, reduction of total and volatile solids and hydrolysis rate constant. Most of the wastes had a methane yield of 0.24-0.28 m3 CH4(STP)/kg VS(initia...

Methane Production By Anaerobic Co-Digestion Of Sewage Sludge And Wheat Straw Under Mesophilic Conditions

This study investigated the possibilities of improving methane yield production from, the anaerobic co-digestion of wheat straw (WS) and primary sludge (PS). The batch experiment was conducted under mesophilic conditions. Different mixtures of WS and PS depending on its C/N ratio were carried out to investigate the optimum C/N ratio for effective methane production. The cumulative methane yield...

Effect of organic loading rates (OLR) on production of methane from anaerobic digestion of vegetables waste

In this study, experiments were conducted to investigate the production of biogas from vegetable wastes by using anaerobic digestion process. The complete-mix, pilot-scale digester with working volume of 70 l was used. The experimental protocol was defined to examine the effect of the change in the organic loading rate on the efficiency of the production of biogas and to report on its steady-st...
